Welcome to a long awaited episode of the Visualize you show. In today's episode, we're going to be talking about how we can embrace clarity, how we can find more joy and authenticity in our life. For those of you that are new to my world, my name is Beth Hewitt. I am a spiritual business performance coach. And today I'm really excited to dive into some powerful reflections on how we can transform uncertainty and into fulfillment. This episode is inspired by a recent blog post that I did, which was inspired by some personal things that I've been going through with the passing of my father just nine days ago. And I really hope that as you listen to today's episode, you'll hear in my personal insight, some actionable tips, some gentle reminders that can help us to navigate all of life with a renewed sense of purpose. Wherever you are right now, sometimes life pushes us into these moments of transformation.

For me, recent personal events, along with the natural ebb and flow of life, have reminded me how crucial it is to step back, to breathe, and to refocus on what really, truly matters to us in the moment. And so in this episode, we're going to be talking about three core pillars. Clarity, joy, and authenticity. Now, these aren't buzzwords I know you might have heard clarity, joy, and authenticity thrown about in the mix on social media. For me, they are the tools that we can use to help rebuild and to give ourselves a sense of hope and to start to chart new, meaningful paths forward. Even when the future might feel a little bit unpredictable, or perhaps you've been focusing so much in a particular area for a while because you, your family or your job or your career or your loved ones or a relationship has required you to focus your attention there. But let's start with the first pillar of clarity and trusting that the answers will come. Sometimes we can feel like we want to understand what's going on or why something's happening or unfolding the way that it it is.

Beth Hewitt [:

And with that, there's this desire to really understand and to have answers and solutions to to something. When life feels unpredictable, our first instinct is to often seek immediate answers. Whether it's a career decision, a personal relationship, or simply wondering about your next step in life, there is this undeniable urge to control every single detail. And that can feel overwhelming. But this seeking of control is really a mechanism for us to be able to have some control over where our life is heading. Over time, I have learned that true clarity often comes when we actually let go of that need for control. And instead of Micromanaging every single aspect. It's better to simply set a clear intention of how we want to feel.

Beth Hewitt [:

Instead of wanting to know how something's meant to be or is going to be, or when something's going to change. How do you want to feel? Do you want to feel free? Do you want to feel light? Do you want to feel happy? Do you want to feel joy? When we do this, instead, we're allowing ourselves to pause. We're allowing ourselves to trust the process, which I know sounds very cliche, but we're also allowing ourselves to reconnect to those feelings that we want to be feeling in our life. This in itself is a level of control, but it's less controlling in terms of trying to predict the outcome of something, and more allowing the universe to unfold and do its thing, while also hanging on to that feeling that we can have as we navigate these choppy waters. When we do this, when we pause, when we trust the process, we often find insights we need will start to come to us when they are most needed, rather than when we simply want them or when we are demanding them. And think about it like this. There's a real subtle difference, yet profound difference, between what is essential for our well being, like breathing, like air, and what is driven by those fleeting desires of wanting and needing, which sometimes, you know, as knowledgeable as we are, we don't always necessarily want the right things. And the universe has a way of providing us with the thing that we do actually need in the moment.

Beth Hewitt [:

The universe, in its own mysterious way, will provide us with exactly what we need in times of uncertainty. So whenever you are caught up in uncertainty, if you can take a moment to breathe, set an intention of how you would prefer to be feeling in the moment, and then let things unfold naturally. Trust that the clarity will come, even if it's not on your exact timeline. You can take a moment right now, you can pause this episode, to think about what areas in your life feel a little out of control, and how might you reframe your approach and invite clarity instead of chasing it? For example, think about how would you prefer to feel about this specific area of your life. That subtle shift from wanting a specific outcome to focusing on the feeling that you prefer to have allows you in that moment to reconnect what brings you joy, what brings you calm, what brings you peace. And when we do that and we focus our attention there, and when we can be grateful for those moments, we start to attract more things to be grateful for. And all of a sudden, the Answers that you seek start to gravitate towards you. The second pillar is joy, embracing happiness in the present moment.

Beth Hewitt [:

So it's easy to fall into the trap of always reaching for that next achievement or that next milestone. Imagine waking up each day and instead of immediately thinking about what you lack, you instead focus on what you have. The small moments, the unexpected smiles, the quiet moments of contentment. Embracing joy means shifting from a mindset of scarcity to one of gratitude. It's about honouring the present moment and realising that happiness isn't something to chase, it's something to experience not in the future, but right here, right now, in the present. For example, try starting your day with a simple gratitude practice. Take a few minutes each morning to just simply jot down three, three things that you are grateful for. We do this inside my infinite vision and gratitude.

Beth Hewitt [:

Journey Community. These moments of acknowledgment can set a positive tone for the day and remind you that even in the midst of uncertainty, there is so much to celebrate. How do you cultivate joy in your daily routine? Are you doing it? Are you doing it enough? Is it a quiet cup of coffee in the morning? Is it a walk outside in nature? Or simply pausing to appreciate a moment of peace? These small practices have the potential to make a huge difference over time as you start to build up your gratitude muscles. And the final pillar that we're going to cover in today's episode is authenticity and staying true to yourself. Now, as clarity begins to emerge and positive change starts to take shape, it's natural to sometimes question if we're ready or even deserving of all of these opportunities that start to present themselves. We often get caught up in self doubt and at times even self sabotage. Why do we do this? That moment when we finally get that taste of success, we swoop in and try to sabotage. But here's the truth.

Beth Hewitt [:

Staying true to yourself is really paramount. Embracing your unique strengths, your unique qualities, without compromise is the key to creating sustained fulfillment. When we bend, when we change, when we water down who we are, there is a part of us that starts to feel resentment. Authenticity means living your truth. Even when when it might feel uncomfortable to begin with or when you're stepping outside of your comfort zone. It's more about trusting that your genuine self is enough and that you have everything within you to build the life you desire. I often tell my clients, if you've got that seedling idea, if you've got that thing that's dropped into your consciousness that you want to do, then it's meant for you. If it wasn't, you would never have got excited about it.

Beth Hewitt [:

So I invite you to reflect on this right now. What does authenticity look like for you? What does authenticity feel like for you? And how can you ensure that in every moment of any challenge you remain connected to who you truly are? Remember, authenticity builds trust. It lays a strong foundation for every decision and every interaction that will ultimately lead you to deeper and more meaningful growth in the long run. Now let's talk about vision. A future vision that is rooted in gratitude. This is the cornerstone, the pillar of all of the work that I do. When we bring together clarity, joy and authenticity, we can create a powerful vision for the future, one that is both inspiring and sustainable. The vision isn't about achieving perfection.

Beth Hewitt [:

It's about appreciating every step of the journey and using gratitude as a compass to guide you forward. Each moment of reflection, every small act of gratitude, and each decision to live authentically contributes to a larger narrative of growth and success. And so I encourage you to set aside some time for journaling or quiet reflection so that you can ask yourself, how can I maintain clarity when life feels unpredictable? In what ways can I cultivate joy and gratitude right now in the present? And what practices can help me to stay true to myself? These questions can serve as a guide to help shape your path forward. As I wrap up today's episode, I want to remind you that life is a constant evolution, and while I may not know exactly how my own path is unfolding right now as I navigate grief, I am deeply grateful for every challenge and every moment that has led me here. I hope that by sharing these reflections with you that I will inspire and you will embrace your own version of clarity, joy and authenticity in your own life.
